Diagnosis
Glabella large and broad, conical, rounded anteriorly, three pairs of glabellar furrows; preglabellar field narrow or absent; occipital ring with a slender occipital spine extending backward from midlength; palpebral lobe long; free cheek broad, genal spine of moderate length. Tho Thorax of 15 segments (occasionally 16); Each axial ring with axial spine or axial node of varying length, 11th longest; Pleural furrow deep, pleural spines short. Pygidium small; Pygidial axis divided into two rings plus a terminal segment, rax axis with the first ring similar to a thoracic segment and bearing a small axial spine.
Remarks
The authors consider this the largest species of Redlichia and the largest Cambrian trilobite of Australia, reaching about 25 cm.
