Diagnosis

Cephalon very wide, surface densely granulated; border narrow while weak; glabella clavate swelling, glabellar furrows in three pairs, frontal lobe rounded; occipital ring with median spine; posterior end of palpebral lobe opposite occipital furrow. thorax Narrow; At least nine segments, each thoracic segment with long axial node. Posterior part of thorax and pygidial characters unknown.

Remarks

The eye of the holotype of this species is a compound eye composed of about 100 ommatidia, and is the oldest trilobite eye whose internal structure has been studied.
