Glabella convex, narrow-conical, with two pairs of glabellar furrows; preglabellar field narrow; anterior border curved into a V shape; border furrow wide and deep; palpebral lobes medium-sized, eye ridges strong; fixigenae wide; librigenae wide with long genal spines. Thorax of 12 segments; axis narrow; pleural furrows wide and deep; pleural spines medium-length. Pygidium subsemicircular; axis narrow-conical with 5 axial rings; 6 pairs of marginal spines, pair 1 slightly longer.

This species is the type species of the genus Teinistion.
