Diagnosis

Cranidium surface nodose; glabella wide, tapering forward, without distinct glabellar furrows but with smooth areas possibly representing muscle scars; occipital ring with a slender occipital spine; librigenae with very large crescentic eyes with square lenses, more than 1100 in number, arranged diagonally; genal spines long, vertical and upward, with ends curved outward-downward. Thorax with wide axis, segment 6 with a long axial spine. Pygidium triangular; axis of two rings with paired axial spines.
