Remarks
Locality and horizon Shuikouzi, Xintaimen, Huludao, Liaoning; Lower Cretaceous Yixian/Jiufotang Formation. Remark Dong Zhiming and Wang Yuan (1998) named L. zhongjiani based on 34 specimens; besides one designated Remark Wang Yuan (2004) named L. daohugouensis based on two specimens; one (IVPP V13393) designated as holotype, the other listed as referred specimen (IVPP V14062). However, according to ICZN Article 72.4.5, this referred specimen published in the same paper should also belong to the type series, and specimens other than the holotype should be paratypes. Therefore, this book changes this specimen from referred specimen to paratype. Additionally, the mandibular element originally labeled as articular in L. daohugouensis (Wang Yuan, 2004, Fig. 2) should be prearticular. This book corrects this.
