Cephalon subrectangular with truncate anterior margin; cranidium trapezoidal; glabella subsquare to slightly trapezoidal with three pairs of lateral glabellar furrows; fixigenae narrow in the palpebral area; palpebral lobes small and convex, kidney-shaped, opposite S2; eye ridges stout; librigenae wide with long genal spines. Thorax of 12 segments; axis subequal in width to pleurae; pleural furrows wide, pleural spines gently recurved, those of segments 3 and 7 distinctly longer than the others. Pygidium semi-elliptical; axis strongly convex with 3 axial rings and a semicircular terminal piece; pleural region with 4 pairs of wide pleural furrows and faint interpleural furrows; 7 pairs of marginal spines, the first pair of large pleural spines being 3-5 times the length of the remaining spines, which shorten progressively toward the axis.
