Diagnosis
Cephalon dolphin-like in outline, preglabellar field long, passing continuously into the anterior glabellar lobe without a separate elevation; glabella with three pairs of glabellar furrows, raised areas ornamented with granules; occipital ring strong; eye areas pit-like; gonatoparian facial sutures; librigenal genal angles pointed. Thorax of 13 segments; axis convex with distinct articulating half-rings; pleural furrows distinct proximally, fading into lines on the articulating facets. Pygidium subtriangular, articulating facet almost indistinguishable in appearance from the thoracic pleural ends; axis with 8 rings; surface with fine granular ornament, the pleural region and distal part granulated.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Devononeseuretus. It occurs in the famous Hunsrück Slate fauna of Germany.
