Diagnosis
Compared with the type species Drotops megalomanicus, this species has vertical conical short spines on the posterior cephalic margin, thoracic axis and pleurae, and pygidial axis and pleural region, generally with two rows of short spines on the axis and on each pleural lobe, though sometimes irregularly arranged.
