Diagnosis

Dorsal shield elongate-oval. cephalon relatively broad, semicircular; glabella nearly rectangular, glabellar furrows in four pairs, pit-like, not connected to the dorsal furrow, anterior three pairs glabellar furrow shallowly connected transversely; palpebral lobe crescentic; free cheek rather broad, genal spine weak. Thorax of 16 segments, axis narrower than the pleural lobes; pleural ribs extending nearly straight, pleural furrows broad and deep, pleural spines developed at the outer ends. Pygidium small, medially notched.

Remarks

This species is the type species of Jianheaspis.
