Diagnosis

Dorsal shield with fine tubercles. Cranidium transversely wide, anterior margin slightly concave, anterior border narrow and upturned; glabella with flatly rounded front, L1 distinctly inflated; 4 pairs of glabellar furrows; palpebral lobes at the middle of the cranidium; eye ridges long; fixigenae wide in the palpebral area. Thorax of 12 segments, axis narrower than pleurae; pleural furrows oblique; pleural spines of segments 3 and 7 long. Pygidial axis slender and long, divided into 7 axial rings and a terminal piece, with a postaxial ridge; pleural region wide with straight, oblique pleural and interpleural furrows, the pleural furrows wide and deep, the interpleural furrows very shallow; border narrow, bearing 10-11 pygidial spines, the first pair slender and long, with a small hooked spine at the anterior lateral angle, the remaining spines small.
