Diagnosis
Dorsal shield long-ovate. Cephalon semicircular; glabella truncate-conical with pointed-rounded or rounded front, with 3 pairs of shallow glabellar furrows; occipital furrow narrow and shallow; occipital ring slightly wider medially; preglabellar field and anterior border subequal in width, or the preglabellar field slightly wider; eye ridges narrow, extending slightly backward-outward; palpebral lobes about one-third the glabellar length; fixigenae rather narrow; librigenae medium-wide with extremely short genal spines; posterior wings transversely wide, subequal to the width of the glabellar base; anterior branches of facial sutures extending forward and outward from the anterior ends of the palpebral lobes; posterior branches short, extending outward and slightly backward from the posterior ends. Thorax of 13 segments; pleural furrows distinct, pleural spines short. Pygidium small; axis convex with rounded end; border rather flat, widening laterally.
Remarks
The first pyritised specimen of this species was discovered by the trilobite enthusiast Yuzhao.
