Diagnosis

Dorsal shield subcircular. Cephalon subtriangular; glabella rhomboidal, strongly convex, with a forward-extending slender spine of circular cross-section; librigenal genal spines more than 3 times the body length. Thorax of 6 segments; axis slightly narrow; pleurae straight. Pygidium small and wide, semi-elliptical; axis conical, faintly divided into 5 rings; border distinctly deflected downward.
