Diagnosis
Selenopeltis inerme inerme Cephalon wide with fine dense nodes; glabella subcircular in dorsal view, dorsal furrows distinct, two pairs of glabellar furrows and 3 pairs of lateral lobes; occipital furrow wide and deep around the base of L1; librigenae wide, extended laterally into long genal spines. Thorax of 9 segments; axis subequal in width to pleurae, with teardrop-shaped swellings laterally; pleurae with bent, raised pleural ribs extended into long pleural spines. Pygidium boat-shaped; 1 pair of pleural ribs extended into relatively short pygidial spines.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Selenopeltis.
