Dorsal shield elongate-elliptical. Cephalon semicircular; glabella long-cylindrical, slightly constricted forward; S1 rather distinct, not connected to the dorsal furrows; occipital ring narrower medially, widening laterally; dorsal furrows faint; no eye ridges; palpebral lobes semicircular, both ends close to the dorsal furrows; fixigenae narrow in the palpebral area; anterior branches of facial sutures diverging outward-forward at about 45 degrees from the anterior ends of the palpebral lobes, then curving smoothly inward to meet on the cephalic median line; librigenae wide with a strongly raised eye socle, genal spines short and wide. Thorax of 9 segments of nearly uniform width; axis widest at the third or fourth segment, narrowing both forward and backward; pleural segments slightly oblique backward, pleural furrows wide, pleural spines short. Pygidium sub-elliptical; axis short, of 5 rings plus a terminal piece, with a faint postaxial ridge; pleural region wide, pleural and interpleural furrows well developed; border wide, slightly less convex than the pleural region.
