Diagnosis
Dorsal shield elongate-oval. Cephalon semicircular; cranidium sub-trapezoidal; glabella conical, convex, rounded anteriorly, with three pairs of shallow, broad glabellar furrows; occipital furrow shallow and broad, occipital ring with a node; opistho parian sutures, anterior branches short, posterior branches long; fixed cheek rather narrow, posterior limb broad and long; eye ridge obliquely directed, palpebral lobe rather small; anterior border furrow shallow, inner border absent or extremely narrow; free cheek broad, genal spine rather long. Thorax of 16 segments, each axial ring bearing a small node, pleural spines lengthening from front to back. Pygidium small, axis convex and cylindrical, divided into two segments, with two pairs of long pleural spines extending backward from two pairs of ribs, the two outermost ones large and long.

This species is the type species of Yiliangella.
